• Component of secondary messengers
What significance do secondary messengers have?
Secondary messengers are those chemicals that are needed in order for a cell to be able communicate from within. The signals that are coming to the individual cells from outside often cannot pass through the cell membrane and cannot penetrate it. In order that this information can be forwarded, second messengers are needed. In most cases, original signals are emitted by hormones, neurotransmitters, such as serotonin or dopamine, or sensory stimuli. With the help of the second messengers, the body is now able to process the incoming information, causing a corresponding reaction.
The characteristics of myo-inositol
The special feature of myo-inositol is the inositol form as "myo" inositol in the capsules of ZeinPharma® which your body can absorb. Natural myo-inositol is found particularly frequently in plants or in meat, in nature it occurs in many cases. However, it is very important that myo-inositol can be absorbed by the human body and can be subsequently utilised. From a chemical point of view, inositol is a hexavalent, cyclic alcohol. Inositol can have a total of nine different forms, a characteristic which depends on which carbon atoms the hydroxy groups are bound to. In technical terms, these expressions are "stereoisomers" and one of them is myo-inositol. It is the most common chemical manifestation of inositol.
Inositol on a natural basis
Each inositol capsule contains 500 mg of pure myo-inositol. This gives you a very good opportunity to easily cover the necessary daily requirement of around 1800 mg. For your body, overall this is a helpful support and capsule is generally easy to consume. ZeinPharma® inositol capsules are a truly first-rate source of inositol, unlike many other products that have only low levels of active ingredients. ZeinPharma® extracts the inositol from phytin, where corn is being used as the starting substance. With the help of phytin, plants store phosphorus. The inositol is obtained directly from corn phytin in the synthesis process. With our inositol capsules you can be sure that you consume a natural-based product of highest quality.
Free of impurities and 100% pure
The inositol of ZeinPharma® is subject to very strict quality controls. It contains neither heavy metals nor microorganisms, is 100% pure and therefore harmless. All raw materials used have been tested for purity from the beginning. In addition to heavy metals and microorganisms, they are also being tested for pesticides and mold. As a ZeinPharma® customer, you can rely on getting a high quality product at all times. For vegans and vegetarians, the inositol capsule is therefore ideally suited because ZeinPharma® completely dispenses with animal ingredients. The inositol capsule is made of cellulose, a 100% vegetable ingredient. You have the absolute assurance that no animal gelatin will be supplied to your body.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
Inositol: It is neither "vitamin B" nor "muscle sugar"
Medicine, research and nutrition have long been concerned about the importance of inositol. Today's knowledge shows that inositol is neither a vitamin B nor muscle sugar. The assignment to the broad group of B vitamins was a common practice due to its past mode of action. Nowadays, this view is outdated. The term muscle sugar is also not true and rather partly wrong; because only the real carbohydrates can be called as muscle sugar. The chemical structure makes it clear that inositol is none of both, but it is a hexavalent, cyclic alcohol.
The body also produces it itself
Problems occur when the diet is disturbed by one-sided nutrition or imbalance, because then the body inhibits the uptake of inositol. This is the case with the consumption of alcohol, coffee and excessive sugar, as well as of certain medicines. In these cases, the point has been reached for the possibility to exploit a dietary supplement. With the inositol capsule, you can be sure that your daily requirement for inositol will be covered with certainty.
Which foods contain inositol?
Natural inositol is contained in a variety of foods. Almost all cereals have a high inositol content. Oats, barley, corn, rye, soy, wild rice, bran of rice and wheat, as well as wheat germ are the leading crops. Among the legumes, beans are inositol carriers. Other inositol sources include nut varieties such as cashew, peanuts, walnuts, almonds, green leafy vegetables, honeydew melons, citrus fruits, fresh and dried fruits, and finally meat.
